About Ella

Ella Knight is an author, audiobook narrator, and known writer for video game articles. Her debut novel, Catching Ivy, is a dark romance with morally grey characters that was published in January 2025. Currently she has her BA in Game Art and Development but is now pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing to enhance her craft of writing even further. She lives in New York with her son, husband, two cats and twisted sense of humor.

 

When she’s not writing, she’s either gaming, watching horror movies, getting tattooed, or dreaming of the day someone finally brings back the dinosaurs. She has mood changing hair, at least that’s what she tells herself to justify changing it every other month. Coffee is addicted to her, but she doesn’t mind as it’s a necessary companion to keep her imagination flowing and her fluency in sarcasm strong. Ella feeds off the emotions of her readers, using their fear, excitement, and unease to fuel her writing. She gets enjoyment out of making her readers question their own reality while simultaneously helping them discover a part of themselves to help them overcome obstacles in their own lives.
